US WW2 Named 82nd Airborne Ike jacket, 504th P.I.R.
In a very good condition an US 82nd Airborne Paratrooper ike Jacket that was obtained from the estate of “John Maslankowski” A company 504th P.I.R. Corperal Maslankowski was a veteran of operation Market-Garden were A Company took part in the heroic Waal river crossing. The ike jacket is in very good condition and wears all the original period sewed and metal insignia. Inside the pocket the name “J. Maslankowski” can be seen.
On his ETO bar we can see four battle stars and one arrow head meaning that this soldier fought all the major battles of WW2. Further you can see the ribons for the Bronze star and Good Conduct medal. An excellent and beautiful paratrooper ike jacket that would be a great base for further research. A very nice historical piece.
