US / British WW2 Silk Escape Map 44E/44F Siam Sumatra

In a very good condition an US/British silk escape and evasion map, double-sided and printed in color on silk/rayon cloth, issued for Allied operations in the South East Asian theater.
This example comprises Sheet 44E (Siam and Sumatra) and Sheet 44F (Siam, Malaya, Sumatra). These large format cloth maps were designed for practical field use by aircrew of the RAF and USAAF and special operations personnel.
