Battle of Britan Cardboard Air Raid Train Signs

In very good condition, an incredibly rare pair of large cardboard Air Raid signs. These signs hung in a London train to instruct passengers on what to do during an air raid. These signs were taken home as a souvenir by a British soldier who fought in Europe.

In 1940, and again in 1944/45, London suffered severe damage, being extensively bombed by the Luftwaffe as part of the Blitz. Civilians took shelter from the air raids in underground stations.
