Battle of Britan Cardboard Air Raid Train Signs

 895,00

In very good condition, an incredibly rare pair of large cardboard Air Raid signs. These signs hung in a London train to instruct passengers on what to do during an air raid. These signs were taken home as a souvenir by a British soldier who fought in Europe.

In 1940, and again in 1944/45, London suffered severe damage, being extensively bombed by the Luftwaffe as part of the Blitz. Civilians took shelter from the air raids in underground stations. Signs like these are rarely found or offered for sale. This is your chance to obtain an original pair that hung together in a London train.
