US WW2 Waco CG-4A Official Press Photo

In very good condition, this rare and early official press photo depicts a training session with the Waco CG-4A Glider. The back of the photo includes a description indicating that these gliders were expected to play an important role, which later proved to be the case. A beautiful, large-format press photo dated 1942, estimated at approximately 13 x 35 cm.
