US WW2 Tanker Bibs 1st Pattern
In a very good condition a great pair of US WW2 winter combat trousers, better nown as “Tanker Bibs” This harder to find 1st pattern is wool lined and does come with zippered fly and pockets opening and adjustable straps. Tightening of ankles is allowed by cloth straps. This pair is coming in a good mannequin size as these were intended to wear over the combat unform.
These trousers were often worn by tank crews and motorcyclists, and became also popular with the paratroopers of the 504th PIR, many period photos show these worn also during operation Market Garden.
