US WW2 Silk Escape Map C/D E/F With Pouch

In a very good condition an US / British paratrooper escape map kit. These maps were widely spread among airborne troops during Operation Neptune (DDay) and Operation Market Garden It could be folded and hide easily when captured and would stay readable when becoming wet. The C/D map is printed double sided of Europe, Holland Belgium, France, Germany the E/F map is oriented more towards Germany and more easterly. The maps comes complete with the original rubberised waterproof wallet. A stunning and hard to find set!
