US WW2 Paratrooper Modified M-1936 Combat Suspenders

A very nice and interesting pair of US WWII M-1936 modified combat suspenders. The OD3 colored suspenders are modified with felt pads that are heavily taped. This was often done by paratroopers to better carry their heavy equipment and ammunition as can be seen on many period photos of Paratroopers in Normandy and Holland. A very nice, homogeneous set in good combat-used condition.
