US WW2 Paratrooper Garrison Cap Infantry, Found In Veghel

 150,00

In a good condition a US Airborne overseas cap for enlisted men. The cap has the combined paratrooper / glider patch originaly attached and comes with blue pipping which means use by a member of the parachute infantry troops. This cap was left behind and found in the town of Veghel, the town of Veghel is next to Eindhoven and was liberated by the 101st Airborne Division during Operation Market Garden. On the inside the cap is marked with a so called laundry number, no further research was done. A very nice possebly identified paratrooper cap which makes a great base for furter research.
