US WW2 OD 51 Officers Trousers
In a worn and good condition a nice pair of US Army officers OD 51 pants .
These pants made from the standard regulation O.D. Dark Elastique material shade 51 were a popular choice with US officers during WW2. They were worn instead of the shade 54 ‘pinks’ pants as part of the winter service uniform and matched the colour of the tunics worn during this period. This example features a typically wide 1940s leg, ‘Talon’ brand zipper to the fly, belt loops, slash pockets to the hips, twin rear pockets and a small ticket pocket to the waist. Inside it is marked with the so called laundry number of the officer. Very nice pair of officers pants!
