US WW2 M3 Paratrooper Fighting Knife “CAMILLUS”

In well-used condition, a WW2 US Paratrooper M3 fighting knife with an original M8 scabbard. Nicely marked US M3 CAMILLUS on the blade, the US Ordnance Flaming Bomb is also clearly visible. This example was left behind in the Belgian Ardennes and has certainly seen combat. The scabbard has been adapted and modified; the top of the canvas has been altered and trimmed with leather. The safety strap has also been repaired with what appears to be a strap from a lightweight gas mask bag. This gives the knife a lot of character. A very nice combat-used M3 Paratrooper fighting knife.
