US WW2 M1942 Paratrooper Pants Named T/SGT Mullaney 505Th PIR

In a very good and light combat worn condition a nice pair of M1942 Paratrooper Trousers. This is an early pair with white sewed in cotton cloth parts on the lower legs. It comes in a good mannequin size and does have all the plastic buttons. It is also suited with early brass ” United Carr” marked snaps in working condition. On the inside it is marked with a washing number and two times named to ” Mullaney”

We were able to identify this pair to T/SGT “Mullaney”. “ T/SGT Mullaney served with the 505th PIR, 82nd Airborne Division and enlisted in Dec 1941 (which match with this early pair of trousers). T/SGT Mullaney received the Silver Star and a Purple heart medal with oak leafe cluster.”
A very nice and hard to find early pair of paratrooper trousers! A Great item for further research.
