US WW2 M1942 Jump Jacket 82nd Airborne Division

A stunning US WW2 M-1942 Paratrooper jump jacket. The jacket is in a very good mannequin size, i would say a 36R. All the early brass snap buttons are in place and do work, also do all the zippers (main and collar zipper). On the left arm the period applied 82nd Airborne patch is still on. Looking at the inside of the jacket we find its several times named and marked with so called laundry markings (partial army serial numbers) which makes this a great base for research. A very nice and stunning looking paratrooper jacket of the famous 82nd Airborne Division!
