US WW2 M-1926 Life Preserver Belt

In a very good condition a US M-1926 Life preserver belt. The belt is still in a supple condition and is nicely maker marked by “Durkee-Adwood Company” and April 1944 dated.
These belts were widely used during the D-Day landing in Normandy and were also used by paratroopers of the US 82nd Airborne division during operation Market-Garden as can be seen on period photos. A very nice US life preserver belt!
