US WW2 Airborne T-5 Reserve ‘Chest Pack’

A beautiful early US WW2 T-5 reserve ‘chest pack’ parachute. This is actually the first reserve deployed on the T-5 and saw use in the North Africa and Siscily jumps. Many period photos show this model still in use during Operation Market Garden by element of the 505th and 504th Parachute Infantry Regiments. The pack is executed in an OD3 colored canvas and has the characteristic “grip” extensions on both sides. Complete with the canopy hooks, red colored rip cord and some hardened rubber bands in the envelope. A nice early US T-5 reserve.
