US WW2 Airborne T-1 Parachute Container “75mm Howitzer”

In a very good condition an US WW2 T-1 container which was used for dropping the 75mm  M1A1 Howitzer in parts. In total there were 9 containers needed to drop a complete canon. This is an early OD3 colored example, complete with serial number and marked “M-2”  These were used during all the campaigns as D-Day and Operation Market Garden. This is the container which was published in Michel Detrez his book, First Airborne Task Force. A rare and hard to find piece of US Airborne equipment!
