In a very good condition an US 82nd Airborne Paratrooper ike jacket of a corporal of B company 504th P.I.R. The ike jacket is in very good condition and wears all the original period sewed and metal insignia such as the 82nd SSI, 504th oval, sterling silver jump wings, CIB and the company B collar discs. On the inside the jacket is marked with the so called personal laundry number “P9797” Research may lead to the name of the previous owner. No research was done by us yet.
On the ETO bar we can see two battle stars and one arrow head meaning that this soldier fought most of the major battles of WW2. Further you can see the ribons for the Bronze star, purple hearth, Good Conduct medal and some others. An excellent and beautiful paratrooper ike jacket that would be a great base for further research. A very nice historical piece!
