PFC Baxter upon arriving in England, would go on to make history with the allies in France, Belgium and Germany. He fought in The Battle of the Bulge and took part in Operation Varsity. During his time in service he would be awarded three Bronze Stars although it is uncertain on the details, as we have not been able to find much information on his service.
A very nice and impressive grouping of a WWII US Airborne trooper of the 17th Airborne Division!
