US WW2 101st Airborne Scrapbook “The Epic of the 101st Airborne Division” Named, Earl Edwards

In good, used condition, this pictorial biography of the US 101st Airborne Division. *The Epic of the 101st Airborne Division* is a pictorial record of a great fighting team. This heavily illustrated scrapbook was written and printed in 1945 in France when the 101st Airborne Division was still in Europe. It describes all the major battles the Division participated in, including D-Day and Operation Market Garden. It is named after Earl Edward, who served in the 101st Airborne Signal Company. The book comes complete with the original letter that was issued to the troops; this is always missing. Additionally, it includes two souvenir photos with writing on the back. The photo of SGT Edward and his service cards are digital and are not part of this grouping. A very nice named “Epic”. A must have for the US Airborne collector!
