US WW2 101st Airborne Division Officers Class A Jacket

 895,00

A beautiful US WW2 Class A jacket belonging to a Captain of the 101st Airborne Division. The jacket comes with all original and period applied insignia, such as a Type 14 101st SSI, bulion service stripes, sterling silver jump wings, crossed rifles, and British-made Captain Bars (J.R. Gaunt marked). In addition, there is a purple heart ribbon and an ETO ribbon with a bronze arrowhead and a silver star. Inside the inner pocket, you will find the tailor’s label, and on the lining, a faint stamp—most likely a laundry mark—is visible; this warrants further investigation. There is some light moth damage visible in the center of the jacket, but this is not bothersome (see photos). A very beautiful Class A jacket that once belonged to an officer in the famous 101st Airborne Division.
