US Early Post WW2 M43 Paratrooper Pants

SOLD

In a very good condition a beautiful pair of early post war M43 Paratrooper pants. These pants consist of a late war produced pair of M-1943 pants which were modified with big cargo pockets made of canvas. On the knees it is also reinforced, this style is known and often refrered to the 17th Airborne. It comes with all working press studs and the original straps attached.
This pair was, looking at the shape of the pockets, material used and style most likely made by the end of 1945 or the beginning of 1946 while the US Airborne troops still were in occupied Germany. A very nice and hard to find pair of rigger modified paratrooper pants!
