US / British WW2 Silk Escape Map 44G/44H Sumatra Java

In a very good condition an US/British silk escape and evasion map, double-sided and printed in color on silk/rayon cloth, issued for Allied operations in the South East Asian theater.
This example comprises Sheet 44G (Sumatra, Java) and Sheet 44H (Borneo, Sumatra, Java). These large format cloth maps were designed for practical field use by aircrew of the RAF and USAAF and special operations personnel.
