British WW2 RAMC Singer Tourniquette

SOLD

In a very good condition a British RAMC singer tourniquette. Used by the medics in hospitals and in the field during combat. The Singer’s tourniquet was a simple device used to prevent blood loss during hemorrhage. It consisted of a strap and metal device with a knob for tightening the strap around the limb. The tourniquette is nicely maker marked and also wears the “AM” stamp which is intresting. Complete with its original metal box. A very nice medical item!
