British WW2 Abney Level With Case, 1940

In a very good condition a British Mk IV Abney level. This Abney level was made for the British Army during WW2, this example is nicely 1940 dated. The vernier is divided to 10 minutes and it is adjusted by the thumb wheel at the top, it has degree and gradient scales for measuring height, slopes and angles of elevation. Having a square base the Abney level can be mounted to any plane surface. Complete with its original leather case and strap.
