British Horlicks 24 Hour Ration Tin
€ 75,00
In a nice condition a British WWII Horlicks 24 hour ration tin. These tins were often issued to aircrew and paratroopers as emergency rations. Horlicks is a malted drink, which was very popular in the UK in the interwar period. The tablets were made of the same ingredients, but designed to be eaten rather than prepared as a drink. The tin provided enough sustenance for twenty-four hours and could be slipped easily into a pocket. A very nice ration tin for display!
