British Aeronautical Map Of Essen RAF

In  a very good condition a British aeronautical map of Essen as used by the RAF troops. This early example is nicely 1942 dated. During WW2 the industrial town of Essen was a target of Allied strategic bombing. Essen was a “primary target” designated for area bombing by the fabruary 1942 area bombing directive.
