Palmer Clinometer Gun Sight 1944

In a very good condition a British made 1944 dated Palmer clinometer. This type of Clinometer was used for sighting a fixed line of fire on various guns including the Vickers machine gun, 13 Pounder and 18 Pounder field guns. The top of the clinometer sight contains a spirit level with brass winders at each end. There are two spring loaded brass claws to facilitate attachment to the chosen weapon system. A very nice clinometer for display.
