British WW2 Escape And Evade Razor Blades

In a very good condition British escape and evade razor blades. Several razor blade manufactures made these “escape and evade” versions of their normal razor blades. These were issued to the RAF, SOE and also to paratroopers and commando’s in case they got caught.

The razor blade is broad arrow marked on the side that would have been magnetised. When submerged in water, it would turn the razor blade pointing these arrows north. Manufactured by Kleen and clearly 1944 dated. A very nice escape item for display!
