British WW2 MKIII “Turtle” Helmet

In nice used condition, a British MKIII combat helmet, a so-called ‘turtle’ model. The helmet still retains much of its original green paint. It is complete with its original liner and khaki chinstrap. The liner is in good condition but has a tear in one of the flaps; it is nicely maker-marked and dated 1944, although this is somewhat difficult to read on the inside. Inside the helmet itself, it is clearly marked with the name of the original wearer, including his army serial number. A nice original British helmet in good, uncleaned condition as found!
