British Fibre Rim Camouflaged Paratrooper Helmet, BMB 1942

In a truly beautiful and untouched condition a rare example of the early British fiber rim paratrooper helmet. This helmet still has most of it’s original heavy dessert (sand) camouflage paint and comes with the original BMB 1942 dated liner and leather chin straps in very supple condition. On top of that it is named (hard to make out) and a seven digit Army serial number which falls in the range of the Royal Engineers. This has not been further investigated and deserves further research. A stunning British fiber rim camouflaged paratrooper helmet. Helmets like this getting real hard to find these days.
