US WW2 M-1928 Haversack With Taped Suspenders

SOLD

In very good condition: a US WWII M-1928 haversack complete with meatcan pouch, mess tin, and knife. This set was once found and left behind in the Belgian Ardennes. The suspenders are taped with black friction tape to keep them in place and allow the haversack to be worn separately from the combat belt as a kind of combat pack. Taped suspenders like this are common practice among airborne troops. A very nice piece for display or to complete your mannequin.
