In a very good condition a rare US WW2 Signal Corps pigeon container. This container made out of wood could hold four Signal Pigeons. The container is clearly 1943 dated, it comes without the feeding tins and is complete with its removable carrying strap. These containers were widley used in the ETO and saw even use within the Airborne Forces in Normandy en Holland as can be seen on many period photos. A very nice pigeon container for display!
